Microgreens are vegetable greens (not to be confused with sprouts) harvested just after the cotyledon leaves have developed (and possibly with one set of true leaves). They go well with almost anything. Use them just like you would any other green. They go well mixed as a salad, used in smoothies, pasta dishes, eggs, sandwiches, soups, etc. Use it as a garnish or eat a handful. This is some powerful superfood so you cannot eat too much of it! We grow our microgreens in clean soil indoors and under LED lights so are available year round. We, also, use only organic seeds. Our micros are cut and sold in clamshells with a net weight of 2 ounces. They keep for up to two weeks refrigerated.
These large, substantial greens are crunchy and have a pleasantly nutty flavor.
These have a mild pea flavor. Serve them fresh in salads, steamed, or add them to stir-fries.
